Our Mission
Exeter Area Womenade's mission is to provide short-term financial assistance to neighbors in need when they have nowhere to turn. Requests remain anonymous and come from trusted community validators such as school staff, social service providers and mental health professionals. Womenade serves community members in the SAU16 towns of Brentwood, East Kingston, Exeter, Kensington, Newfields, Stratham and some surrounding towns not served by a Womenade chapter.
Womenade envisions that every community member with qualified financial need will be assisted quickly with dignity and grace.
Exeter Area Womenade is a non-profit 501c3, organized in 2005 to provide local residents with short-term financial assistance when they have nowhere else to turn. Anonymous requests are received from trusted community validators such as school staff, social service providers, mental health professionals, and more. Requests are reviewed by the Womenade Board and, if approved, payment is made promptly to the service provider.
Womenade serves Brentwood, East Kingston, Exeter, Kensington, Newfields, Stratham, and some surrounding towns.
